I was contacted by the Soul Rebels to make tour posters as well as posters for individual shows. The Brand is for the most part colorful, funky, and upbeat.

During my time at Blue Note Jazz Club I worked as the Art Director, managing the iconic Blue Note brand and creating print and web collateral for Blue Note Jazz Club, Blue Note Jazz Festival, and Blue Note Media Group - a digital and print marketing subsidiary of the club servicing the music industry.
Additionally I oversaw design based operations in regards to the expansion of the Blue Note brand through new clubs domestically and overseas, through consultations regarding upholding of brand standards, as well as the fabrication of materials to be integrated into the fixtures of new clubs.
Live For Live Music / Stratosphere All Stars
This illustration was just one of a series of sizes done for Live for Live Music to promote the overall tour and individual dates. The timeline for this was two days of working time.
Working with the band and management directly, this photo illustration was created using found artwork and photography. The goal was to give a whimsical sense to the atmosphere similar to what a common conception of heaven might be. This was announced through Brooklyn Vegan and can be seen here .
White Teeth – This cover takes an interestingly cropped visual, takes a graphic approach to add interest, and tackles a dichotomous subject matter that presents itself within the book. At first glance it is a very literal handling of the title of the book, but at later inspection it is revealed that the condition of the teeth runs parallel with the juxtaposition between serene teeth of the well off and the troubles of the socioeconomically disadvantaged.
Siddhartha – The largest contributing factor to this piece is the contextual position of the novel itself. I wanted to portray it with a great level of visual interest while not falling into the cliché of Buddhist minimalisms or a visual representation of a Buddha or Siddhartha himself. That being said the clean minimalistic expression is conveyed within the simplicity and carefully considered layout decisions.
